Project of a barber shop located along Hyogo prefecture's Shukugawa where cherry blossoms are impressive. I thought of the owner who continued the barber shop at this place for a long time. And I imagined the atmosphere of the customers of the same generation as the owner and thought of a barber shop in this attractive area. In this barber shop, which has a minimum space structure that excludes reception counters and waiting rooms that are generally placed, the black steel plates wall of abstract and organic patterns are blocking external crowds. The interior wall was finished with diatomite-like finish. After reviewing the minimum illuminance that does not hinder work, a sharp lighting plan gave depth to the space and increased density. I designed to be an authentic barber shop with a dignified atmosphere in this place.
