HAKUSAN SHOP OSAKA

A plan of the Osaka showroom of HAKUSAN PORCELAIN Co., Ltd. which continues to make ceramics to be used in everyday life based on Hasami Nagasaki. I designed it for the purpose of experiencing the unchanged posture of HAKUSAN PORCELAIN Co., Ltd. and the design that continues to evolve. About the ceramic used in everyday life "It is not luxurious, but not mediocre. although there is new things, it is not affected by the times" I thought of a flat space based on of HAKUSAN PORCELAIN’S PHILOSOPHY. It is not a work that is exhibited like a museum. We planned an atmosphere that penetrates into memory with a sense of physical scale as a part of everyday life and extension of living tools. In other words, it may not be a strong logic or impression, but something that says something good is sustained. The intended destination is clear. For that reason, it seemed that it would be desirable to construct the showroom inevitably consisting of elements resonating with the principle of HAKUSAN PORCELAIN Co., Ltd. I made use of materials such as plaster, silver foil and copper plate which have been used in architecture for a long time, so as not to give a sense of tension to the space. Stuck closer to everyday life, never get bored, I designed a place to express the strong core of HAKUSAN PORCELAIN Co., Ltd.
